Data and security
Where is our data stored?
All data is securely stored in Netpower’s data centre in Norway. Netpower is the software developer behind ChemCenter and is responsible for operating and maintaining the technical infrastructure. Other hosting options are also available, allowing data to be stored in other locations depending on your organisation’s requirements.
Who owns our data?
Your organisation retains full ownership of its own data. ChemCenter provides the system for managing your chemical information, while the data remains yours.
Can we export our data if needed?
Yes, data can be easily exported from ChemCenter when needed. If you require a complete export of your data, our technical team can also assist with this.
Technical
Do we need to install any software?
No, ChemCenter is web-based and can be accessed directly through your browser, so there is no need to install additional software.
What devices and browsers are supported?
